However you participate, our prayer is that you will be encouraged and uplifted through your participation in our worship. Thank you for being part of our faith community.
On the heels of Jesus, the crowds are growing and expecting more from Him. But he is looking to Jerusalem and His cross. Here in our gospel reading from Luke, Jesus is confronted with the sin of covetousness and he addresses this sin with a parable of a fool interested only in this life and wealth. Jesus is going to the cross even for this sin prevalent in every culture and lifetime. Jesus Christ is our only hope not just in this life but in the next no matter how much we are worth, or how much we think we are worth.
