Voters’ Meeting TODAY
We have a Voters’ Meeting scheduled for TODAY, November 20 after worship. The purpose of this meeting will be to vote on some revisions to our constitution and by-laws. Copies of the revisions are available in the church narthex.
Angel Tree Gift Giving
Our 2022 Angel Tree is now available. Simply pick an ornament from the Angel Tree in the church lobby and return your gift by December 3. Also, make sure to sign the book by the tree to let us know which ornament you took.
We also have a Virtual Angel Tree. Simply purchase a gift card on our website for one of our Angel Tree family members. When you purchase the gift card we will ensure that the family member receives the gift card. You do not need to worry about shipping when purchasing the cards.
Christmas Carol Karaoke
Join us for Christmas Carol Karaoke on Saturday, December 3, starting at 6pm. Funds raised from this event will go to support our Good Shepherd Youth to help them attend the next National Youth Gathering.
Midweek Advent Worship
Join us for Midweek Advent Worship on Wednesday nights at 7pm during the season of Advent. The first midweek service begins November 30.

Linda and I would like to express our gratitude to all who donated to help with my dental work. First to Bob Shipley for initiating the fundraiser, to Pastor for the idea of going through Brother’s Keeper, Dr Gwen Giannina for her services, and to everyone for their prayers and support through our difficult times. Good Shepherd is a drop-off location for the Thrivent Toys for Tots Drive. If you have a toy to donate you can drop it off in the box in our lobby.

Mission Tithe Support
10% of offerings received at Good Shepherd are tithed to support other ministry organizations. We recently updated the organizations we support and our tithe now goes to:
- The LCMS New Jersey District
- Lutheran Church Charities
- Gary and Sue Kessler (missionaries to Belize)
- The Kairos Network
- Concordia Seminary, St. Louis

Ways to Financially Support Good Shepherd
Online Giving
Visit gs4nj.org/give to donate. You can donate with a credit card or have the funds debited from your checking account. You can also set up automated giving set up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or twice-monthly basis.
Another option to give is text to give. Text any dollar amount to 84321. We will reply with a link to a quick, self-guided setup process to tie your mobile phone to our church, your donor account, and a payment source.
All of this is easily managed through an online account that is set up the first time you give. There is also an app that can be used to manage your giving. It is available on iOS and Android.

If you already shop at Amazon, it is easy to support our ministry. Instead of going to amazon.com to shop, just add “smile.” before amazon.com. So the link will be smile.amazon.com. Any time you make a purchase at this link 0.5% of your purchase will go to the charity of your choice. It may not be much, but it adds up over time and as more of us make use of this service. Please keep in mind that you need to use the smile link every time you make a purchase. If you go back to using the regular Amazon link or use the Amazon app, we will not get a donation with those purchases.
Shop with Scrip
Scrip gift cards are available immediately following the Sunday worship in the Narthex. There are many cards to choose from and specific gift cards if you want. Be sure to ask what other cards are available. There are hundreds to choose from. We are grateful for all who have purchased these cards in support of our ministry. Be sure to stop and pick up a few cards.
Daily Bible Readings 2022
The Good Shepherd Daily Bible Readings are now available for 2022. Join us in reading through the Bible in 2022. There are three reading each day. There are no readings on Saturday or Sunday. Use those days to catch up or to reflect upon previous readings.
