Angel Tree Gift Giving
2022 Angel Tree Gifts are due today (December 4)!
We also have a Virtual Angel Tree that you can still participate in. Simply purchase a gift card on our website for one of our Angel Tree family members. When you purchase the gift card we will ensure that the family member receives the gift card. You do not need to worry about shipping when purchasing the cards.
Midweek Advent Worship

Christmas Eve Worship
Join us for worship on Christmas Eve at 5pm or 7pm. Because Christmas Day will be on a Sunday this year, we will worship at 10am on Christmas Day.
Year-End Offering
Hi Church-
I want to get real with you for a moment. Ministry takes money. We love Jesus. We volunteer. We worship him. We pray. We serve. All this is great. But the work of ministry involves the people of God being generous in the use of their finances.
We all know that costs have gone up. The price of gas. The price food. The price of clothes. We all feel it. The church has felt it too.
The temptation is to take what we would give to God to use that to meet our increased costs. Our temptation is to trust more in our money than in the Lord. I would encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord in your giving. It is difficult financial times that reveal where our faith is truly placed.
Christmas Celebration at Preferred Care Living

Toys for Tots
Good Shepherd is a drop-off location for the Thrivent Toys for Tots Drive. If you have a toy to donate you can drop it off in the box in our lobby.

Mission Tithe Support
10% of offerings received at Good Shepherd are tithed to support other ministry organizations. We recently updated the organizations we support and our tithe now goes to:
- The LCMS New Jersey District
- Lutheran Church Charities
- Gary and Sue Kessler (missionaries to Belize)
- The Kairos Network
- Concordia Seminary, St. Louis

Ways to Financially Support Good Shepherd
Online Giving
Visit gs4nj.org/give to donate. You can donate with a credit card or have the funds debited from your checking account. You can also set up automated giving set up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or twice-monthly basis.
Another option to give is text to give. Text any dollar amount to 84321. We will reply with a link to a quick, self-guided setup process to tie your mobile phone to our church, your donor account, and a payment source.
All of this is easily managed through an online account that is set up the first time you give. There is also an app that can be used to manage your giving. It is available on iOS and Android.

If you already shop at Amazon, it is easy to support our ministry. Instead of going to amazon.com to shop, just add “smile.” before amazon.com. So the link will be smile.amazon.com. Any time you make a purchase at this link 0.5% of your purchase will go to the charity of your choice. It may not be much, but it adds up over time and as more of us make use of this service. Please keep in mind that you need to use the smile link every time you make a purchase. Shop with Scrip
Scrip gift cards are available immediately following the Sunday worship in the Narthex. There are many cards to choose from and specific gift cards if you want. Be sure to ask what other cards are available. There are hundreds to choose from. We are grateful for all who have purchased these cards in support of our ministry. Be sure to stop and pick up a few cards.
Daily Bible Readings 2022
The Good Shepherd Daily Bible Readings are now available for 2022. Join us in reading through the Bible in 2022. There are three reading each day. There are no readings on Saturday or Sunday. Use those days to catch up or to reflect upon previous readings.
