Happy Advent! It is the beginning of a new church year. Advent is a season of preparation and anticipation. In our waiting, we look forward to the coming of our Savior King Jesus. Our message series is “ADVENTure!” We will highlight how life with Jesus is a thrilling adventure. And if you are not part of this adventure, how do you get on board. We pray you will be encouraged by this message series and our worship today. Today’s message is “Luck & Good Fortune.” How do you find luck and good fortune?

Christmas Eve Worship
Join us in-person or online to on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Christmas Eve Candlelight Services will be at 5pm and 7pm. Worship on Sunday, December 26 will be at 10am as regularly scheduled. There is no Sunday School on December 26 or January 2.
Midweek Advent Worship
Midweek Advent Worship will be held on Wednesday starting at 7pm. You can participate in-person or online.
Year-End Offering
We have made Covid an excuse for many things. But one thing Good Shepherd has not made Covid an excuse for is the continuing stewardship of God’s property at 3139 County Rd 516. There have been extensive renovations and maintenance performed in the last two years. Some of the projects include:
- New carpet and church chairs in the sanctuary
- New flooring and drywall in the conference room

Visit gs4nj.org/give to donate. You can donate with a credit card or have the funds debited from your checking account. You can also set up automated giving set up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or twice-monthly basis.
Another option to give is text to give. Text any dollar amount to 84321. We will reply with a link to a quick, self-guided setup process to tie your mobile phone to our church, your donor account, and a payment source.
All of this is easily managed through an online account that is set up the first time you give. There is also an app that can be used to manage your giving. It is available on iOS and Android.
