It is the beginning of a new church year. Advent is a season of preparation and anticipation. In our waiting, we look forward to the coming of our Savior King Jesus. Our message series is “ADVENTure!” We will highlight how life with Jesus is a thrilling adventure. And if you are not part of this adventure, how do you get on board. Our message today is “Finding the Way!” We pray you will be encouraged by this message series and our worship today.

Christmas Eve Worship
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services will be at 5pm and 7pm. Worship on Sunday, December 26 will be at 10am as regularly scheduled. There is no Sunday School on December 26 or January 2.
Midweek Advent Worship
Midweek Advent Worship will be held on Wednesdays during Advent, starting at 7pm. You can participate in-person or online.
Angel Tree 2021
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Angel Tree. All gift cards were purchased and ornaments were taken. Gifts are due today, December 12!
Year-End Offering
We have made Covid an excuse for many things. But one thing Good Shepherd has not made Covid an excuse for is the continuing stewardship of God’s property at 3139 County Rd 516. There have been extensive renovations and maintenance performed in the last two years. Some of the projects include:
- New carpet and church chairs in the sanctuary
- New flooring and drywall in the conference room

GSCC Christmas Program
Good Shepherd Children’s Center hosted its Christmas Program this weekend. It was such a joy to host this program in-person again.

2022 LCC Comfort Dog Ministry Calendars are now available. Lily Comfort Dog is featured for the month of August. If you would like a calendar, make sure to find Lily after worship is over. There is a $15 suggested donation.
Sunday School
Register Your Children!
Sunday School has begun and is hosted every week starting at 9 am. It is not too late to start. Make sure to register your children.
Volunteer to Serve

Visit gs4nj.org/give to donate. You can donate with a credit card or have the funds debited from your checking account. You can also set up automated giving set up on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or twice-monthly basis.
Another option to give is text to give. Text any dollar amount to 84321. We will reply with a link to a quick, self-guided setup process to tie your mobile phone to our church, your donor account, and a payment source.
All of this is easily managed through an online account that is set up the first time you give. There is also an app that can be used to manage your giving. It is available on iOS and Android.

Shop with Scrip
Scrip gift cards are available immediately following the Sunday worship in the Narthex. There are many cards to chose from and specific gift cards if you want. Be sure to ask what other cards are available. There are hundreds to choose from. We are grateful for all who have purchased these cards in support of our ministry. Be sure to stop and pick up a few cards.
Bible Reading Plan
Join us in reading the Bible in 2021. There is nothing more you can do the enhance your Spiritual Growth than to read the Bible on your own. Set a goal to read through the Scriptures for the purpose of connecting with God each day.
