We may not be able to physically gather together as a church, but we will be gathering online. We are the Church no matter where or how we meet.
Sunday’s worship will be online. We will stream live on both Facebook and YouTube at 10am. If you have a Facebook account, we want to encourage you to use Facebook as we plan to make that to be more of an interactive experience.
The worship will be similar, but different. We will be led through a time of song. We encourage you to sing along as if you were present in the sanctuary with us. We will have a Scripture reading, sermon, and time of prayer. We will also take time for an offering. During this time you will be invited to prepare an offering to be mailed to the church or to submit a donation through the church website.
We will also participate in communion together. But you need to know that this is BYOBW. That is Bring Your Own Bread & Wine. We ask that you would have these elements available in advance. The bread we use on Sunday morning is unleavened bread. We encourage you to purchase Matzo Bread at the store or have it delivered from Amazon. Make sure to used Amazon Smile! Pastor Phil will consecrate the elements digitally. Then we will all partake individually in our homes, but together online. But please keep in mind that it is important that you provide these elements for yourself.
This will be a new experience for all of us. We will be learning as we go along. So let’s join together in prayer that it will be an enriching experience and for flawless execution with the technology.
